Description

Make a bold statement with our Totem Bump Ceramic Vase in Black, a striking piece that effortlessly blends modern design with eye-catching allure. The totem-inspired silhouette against the sleek black backdrop creates a visually captivating contrast, making it a perfect focal point or statement accent. Its medium size allows for versatile styling options, whether you choose to display flowers or showcase it as a standalone decorative object.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Totem Bump vase for its sleek, modern silhouette and matte black finish, making it a versatile piece that works well in contemporary and minimalist interiors. Its bold shape makes it a statement on its own, so it’s ideal for showcasing simple stems or greenery, but it also pairs beautifully with mixed textures like wood, glass, or metallic accents. For practical styling, try balancing a few fresh or dried flowers in neutral tones to highlight its sculptural form, or display it as a standalone decorative object on a sideboard or shelf for a clean, polished look. Its sculptural quality adds presence without overwhelming, making it an excellent centrepiece or accent piece in both living spaces and entryways.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
