Simple volumes and pale colours are elements David Chipperfield architects have incorporated in their 'tonale' homeware series for Alessi. The 'tonale' tableware series was inspired by the works of Italian painter Giorgio Morandi and consists of a carafe, a tray, plates, bowls, beakers and cups.
