Description

With simple and elegant design, the curvaceous, open elliptical shape of the Elliptic Deluxe unit has an organic quality that will contrast beautifully with the straight lines of your TV. It makes a naturally beautiful home for all your home AV equipment. The stylish design is complemented by a toughened glass top and includes practical benefits: full cable management features keep wires seamlessly hidden from view, while built in ventilation ensures free circulation of air around your tech equipment. The central shelf is adjustable and provides an ideal home for a soundbar. It can also be positioned in corners to be compatible with a wide variety of living spaces. Handmade British design Natural wood veneer for uniqueness and beauty Maximum weight: 35kg Shelf depth: 48cm Delivered fully assembled Please note: Any maximum TV size quoted is a recommendation only and the exact dimensions of the TV's pedestal/feet should be checked to ensure it fits prior to purchase.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Elliptic walnut TV stand for its clean, curved silhouette and generous open shelving - it feels lighter than a bulky unit but still gives plenty of space for consoles or a soundbar. The warm walnut finish works especially well in Scandinavian-inspired or mid-century modern schemes, but it can also soften an otherwise minimalist or industrial living room. Styling tips: keep the two shelves clutter-free by grouping electronics on one side and a neat stack of books or a slim planter on the other. Use discreet cable-management to maintain that streamlined look, then top the stand with a low vase or sculptural object so your TV remains the focal point without overwhelming the space.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
