Description

The Weave Rug takes the classic basket weave pattern to the next level by enlarging it and adding a distinctive outline. Available in two sizes—170x240cm and 200x300cm—this rug strikes the perfect balance between jute and wool, offering both comfort and luxury underfoot. The undyed, twisted jute provides a woody, natural look, lending the rug a timeless and earthy aesthetic that brings warmth and texture to any room. Ideal for creating a cozy, grounded atmosphere, the Weave Rug adds a sophisticated yet organic touch to your space. Designed by the in-house Tom Dixon London Studio. Handmade by skill artisans in Northern India. Available in two sizes and two colourways. Comes with a 1-year warranty for peace of mind.

Our Stylist Says

I love this rug for its contemporary yet versatile texture, making it a great choice for both modern and eclectic interiors. The weave adds tactile interest without overpowering the space, and the blue hue gives it a soothing, sophisticated touch. It works particularly well in living rooms or bedrooms that need a splash of colour but still want to keep things understated. Practical styling tips include layering it over a neutral carpet or flooring to highlight its woven detail, and pairing it with natural textiles and minimal accessories for a balanced look. Because of its size, it’s ideal for anchoring a seating area or defining a space in open-plan rooms.

About Tom Dixon

Established in 2002, Tom Dixon is a British luxury design brand offering contemporary lighting, furniture, and accessories. Their innovative designs are perfect for those looking to make a unique, modern statement in their home.

From Bass Guitar to Design Guru

Tom Dixon isn't your typical designer. Starting as the bass guitarist for Funkapolitan, a twist of fate led him to the world of design after a series of motorbike accidents.

By the 1980s, he was gaining recognition with pieces like the iconic "S' chair for Italian giant Cappellini. By the 90s, his creativity brought him to the forefront of British design, even rejuvenating the Habitat brand.

But it wasn't until 2002 that the Tom Dixon brand was established, with its base in London's King's Cross. The brand, known for pioneering lighting, furniture, and accessories, quickly gained international acclaim and is now represented in 90 countries.

Master of Materials

Tom Dixon's genius lies in his ability to reimagine ordinary materials. From the early days, he transformed found objects and industrial materials into art.

Whether it's the allure of copper, the shine of stainless steel, the imperfections in hand-beaten brass, or the timeless nature of stone, Tom Dixon products always have a unique touch.

His signature products, from the Melt pendant inspired by molten glass to the instantly recognizable Beat, S Chair, and Wingback, can be found in museums like the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and MOMA in New York.

More Than Just Products

Tom Dixon's impact isn't limited to individual items. In 2007, he launched Design Research Studio, which has since redefined spaces around the world.

From the Drugstore Brasserie in Paris to reimagining the modern cruise experience for Virgin Voyages, his design agency creates immersive environments.
