Description

A simple, sleek table for all occasions, Tube is a versatile and elegant table base made from brass plated tubing. Available in brass and a new black finish, Tall and Wide join the Tube family, creating variation in height, dimension and weight. Tube is a sophisticated sturdy table component that can be customised.

Our Stylist Says

I’d call this simply the Tube table, and what I love most is its concise scale and blend of white marble with a warm brass finish. At 900 mm it’s perfect for a snug breakfast nook or city flat dining corner, where its clean lines won’t overwhelm the space. Styling-wise, it sits comfortably in contemporary, Scandi or pared-back Art Deco interiors. Keep your chairs streamlined (think slim-legged or moulded shells) and layer in textured accents like a linen runner or a small bouquet in a low glass vase. Practical tip: use soft cork or leather coasters to protect the marble, and position a pendant light directly above to highlight the brass column.

About Tom Dixon

Established in 2002, Tom Dixon is a British luxury design brand offering contemporary lighting, furniture, and accessories. Their innovative designs are perfect for those looking to make a unique, modern statement in their home.

From Bass Guitar to Design Guru

Tom Dixon isn't your typical designer. Starting as the bass guitarist for Funkapolitan, a twist of fate led him to the world of design after a series of motorbike accidents.

By the 1980s, he was gaining recognition with pieces like the iconic "S' chair for Italian giant Cappellini. By the 90s, his creativity brought him to the forefront of British design, even rejuvenating the Habitat brand.

But it wasn't until 2002 that the Tom Dixon brand was established, with its base in London's King's Cross. The brand, known for pioneering lighting, furniture, and accessories, quickly gained international acclaim and is now represented in 90 countries.

Master of Materials

Tom Dixon's genius lies in his ability to reimagine ordinary materials. From the early days, he transformed found objects and industrial materials into art.

Whether it's the allure of copper, the shine of stainless steel, the imperfections in hand-beaten brass, or the timeless nature of stone, Tom Dixon products always have a unique touch.

His signature products, from the Melt pendant inspired by molten glass to the instantly recognizable Beat, S Chair, and Wingback, can be found in museums like the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and MOMA in New York.

More Than Just Products

Tom Dixon's impact isn't limited to individual items. In 2007, he launched Design Research Studio, which has since redefined spaces around the world.

From the Drugstore Brasserie in Paris to reimagining the modern cruise experience for Virgin Voyages, his design agency creates immersive environments.
