Description

Inspired by inflatable geometry, Puff is an intricate polyhedral object made of flat diamond-shaped metal panels, expanded and ballooned as though they have been inflated thanks to their cunning incised pattern. The etched and perforated panels of Puff create small but highly reflective facets that disperse myriad internal reflections, making the inside akin to a shimmering inverted disco ball.

Our Stylist Says

I love the puff pendant system round trio for its contemporary yet tactile appeal, making it a versatile piece for various interiors. Its stainless steel finish lends a sleek, modern edge, perfect for minimal or industrial-inspired spaces, but it also works well in eclectic or Scandinavian interiors where its geometric forms can add interest. For practical styling, I recommend hanging it at different heights to create visual dynamism, especially over dining tables or kitchen islands. Pairing it with muted colour schemes allows the metallic finish to stand out, while in more vibrant spaces, it acts as a sophisticated neutral highlight. Overall, it’s a statement piece that combines function with a touch of sculptural elegance.

About Tom Dixon

Established in 2002, Tom Dixon is a British luxury design brand offering contemporary lighting, furniture, and accessories. Their innovative designs are perfect for those looking to make a unique, modern statement in their home.

From Bass Guitar to Design Guru

Tom Dixon isn't your typical designer. Starting as the bass guitarist for Funkapolitan, a twist of fate led him to the world of design after a series of motorbike accidents.

By the 1980s, he was gaining recognition with pieces like the iconic "S' chair for Italian giant Cappellini. By the 90s, his creativity brought him to the forefront of British design, even rejuvenating the Habitat brand.

But it wasn't until 2002 that the Tom Dixon brand was established, with its base in London's King's Cross. The brand, known for pioneering lighting, furniture, and accessories, quickly gained international acclaim and is now represented in 90 countries.

Master of Materials

Tom Dixon's genius lies in his ability to reimagine ordinary materials. From the early days, he transformed found objects and industrial materials into art.

Whether it's the allure of copper, the shine of stainless steel, the imperfections in hand-beaten brass, or the timeless nature of stone, Tom Dixon products always have a unique touch.

His signature products, from the Melt pendant inspired by molten glass to the instantly recognizable Beat, S Chair, and Wingback, can be found in museums like the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and MOMA in New York.

More Than Just Products

Tom Dixon's impact isn't limited to individual items. In 2007, he launched Design Research Studio, which has since redefined spaces around the world.

From the Drugstore Brasserie in Paris to reimagining the modern cruise experience for Virgin Voyages, his design agency creates immersive environments.
