Description

Globe Chandelier Small features four spherical Globe shades protruding from steel tubes. The shades are designed into a fixed configuration with a single point construction. Featuring our integrated LED module, the spherical orbs are highly mirrored and perfectly reflective during the day, and when switched on reveals a multiplicity of internal reflections.

Our Stylist Says

I love this small globe chandelier for its modern yet timeless appeal. The opal glass globes diffuse light beautifully, creating a soft and inviting glow that's perfect for living rooms, dining areas, or even more intimate spaces like bedrooms. Its clean design works well in contemporary and minimalist interiors but can also add a chic touch to classic or eclectic schemes. For practical styling, consider hanging it at varying heights in larger spaces to add visual interest, or pairing it with complementary lighting fixtures for layered illumination. This piece is especially effective when placed in clusters or over dining tables, making a striking focal point without overwhelming the space.

About Tom Dixon

Established in 2002, Tom Dixon is a British luxury design brand offering contemporary lighting, furniture, and accessories. Their innovative designs are perfect for those looking to make a unique, modern statement in their home.

From Bass Guitar to Design Guru

Tom Dixon isn't your typical designer. Starting as the bass guitarist for Funkapolitan, a twist of fate led him to the world of design after a series of motorbike accidents.

By the 1980s, he was gaining recognition with pieces like the iconic "S' chair for Italian giant Cappellini. By the 90s, his creativity brought him to the forefront of British design, even rejuvenating the Habitat brand.

But it wasn't until 2002 that the Tom Dixon brand was established, with its base in London's King's Cross. The brand, known for pioneering lighting, furniture, and accessories, quickly gained international acclaim and is now represented in 90 countries.

Master of Materials

Tom Dixon's genius lies in his ability to reimagine ordinary materials. From the early days, he transformed found objects and industrial materials into art.

Whether it's the allure of copper, the shine of stainless steel, the imperfections in hand-beaten brass, or the timeless nature of stone, Tom Dixon products always have a unique touch.

His signature products, from the Melt pendant inspired by molten glass to the instantly recognizable Beat, S Chair, and Wingback, can be found in museums like the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and MOMA in New York.

More Than Just Products

Tom Dixon's impact isn't limited to individual items. In 2007, he launched Design Research Studio, which has since redefined spaces around the world.

From the Drugstore Brasserie in Paris to reimagining the modern cruise experience for Virgin Voyages, his design agency creates immersive environments.
