I’m a fan of the “Fat Black Steel” chair in porridge fabric because its sculptural form and pared-back palette slot straight into both minimalist and more layered schemes. Tom Dixon isn't your typical designer. Starting as the bass guitarist for Funkapolitan, a twist of fate led him to the world of design after a series of motorbike accidents.
