Description
Fan is a modern take on the classical Windsor design. The round table is a British archetype converted to a contemporary silhouette, creating an exclamation mark in any space with a semi transparent structure that takes up minimal visual mass. Featuring a natural wooden base and a versatile and hardwearing round top in pebble marble.

I’m a big fan of this Fan side table - the sculptural oak ‘cage’ base paired with the pebble marble top adds texture without overwhelming a scheme. At 600 mm across it’s just the right size for a sofa side or a cosy reading nook, and the natural tones work as a neutral backdrop.
It suits Scandi, modern-minimal or even transitional interiors - simply style with one or two objects (think a slim lamp, a small vase or a neat stack of books) so the marble surface remains the star. The mix of wood and stone also plays well against soft textiles and greenery.

Tom Dixon isn't your typical designer. Starting as the bass guitarist for Funkapolitan, a twist of fate led him to the world of design after a series of motorbike accidents.
