Description

With these articles for measuring, brewing, steaming, cooling, pouring and preserving we are exploring the transformative alchemy of curious instruments and chemical reactions. Inspired by laboratory apparatus, Bump is an exercise in the manipulation of the conical, spherical and tubular building blocks that we love to play with, of double walled glassmaking and a play in transparency and translucence. Hand-wash in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. Suitable for use with food. Always rinse before use. Not dish-washer safe. Do not use abrasive agents as this will damage the surface. The products are hand made and variations will occur. Colour may change over time due to the character of the material. Bump Tall Glasses have a capacity of 350m L each.

Our Stylist Says

I love these Tom Dixon bump glasses because they bring a contemporary yet playful touch to any interior. Their soft, rounded shape combined with the subtle colour at the base adds visual interest without overwhelming a space. They’re versatile enough to work in modern, minimalist schemes or more eclectic setups. Practical styling tips include grouping them on a side table or mantle with candles or small decorative objects for an effortless vignette, or using them as everyday tumblers that double as statement pieces. Their size and shape make them perfect for layering with other glassware or featuring as a standalone accent in open shelving.

About Tom Dixon

Established in 2002, Tom Dixon is a British luxury design brand offering contemporary lighting, furniture, and accessories. Their innovative designs are perfect for those looking to make a unique, modern statement in their home.

From Bass Guitar to Design Guru

Tom Dixon isn't your typical designer. Starting as the bass guitarist for Funkapolitan, a twist of fate led him to the world of design after a series of motorbike accidents.

By the 1980s, he was gaining recognition with pieces like the iconic "S' chair for Italian giant Cappellini. By the 90s, his creativity brought him to the forefront of British design, even rejuvenating the Habitat brand.

But it wasn't until 2002 that the Tom Dixon brand was established, with its base in London's King's Cross. The brand, known for pioneering lighting, furniture, and accessories, quickly gained international acclaim and is now represented in 90 countries.

Master of Materials

Tom Dixon's genius lies in his ability to reimagine ordinary materials. From the early days, he transformed found objects and industrial materials into art.

Whether it's the allure of copper, the shine of stainless steel, the imperfections in hand-beaten brass, or the timeless nature of stone, Tom Dixon products always have a unique touch.

His signature products, from the Melt pendant inspired by molten glass to the instantly recognizable Beat, S Chair, and Wingback, can be found in museums like the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and MOMA in New York.

More Than Just Products

Tom Dixon's impact isn't limited to individual items. In 2007, he launched Design Research Studio, which has since redefined spaces around the world.

From the Drugstore Brasserie in Paris to reimagining the modern cruise experience for Virgin Voyages, his design agency creates immersive environments.
