Description

A series of lights in four distinctive pendant shapes: Stout, Wide, Fat and Tall. Inspired by the sculptural simplicity of traditional Indian water vessels and available in four finishes all with a warm interior of beaten brass or silver plate.

Our Stylist Says

I love this pendant for its sleek, modern design and warm brass finish that adds a touch of sophistication to any space. It works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist interiors, but can also elevate eclectic or industrial schemes when paired with bold textures or darker colour palettes. A practical styling tip is to hang it over dining tables or kitchen islands to create a focal point, ensuring the height is adjustable for the best visual effect and functional lighting. Its timeless brass tone makes it versatile enough to blend seamlessly with both colour-rich and neutral environments, adding a subtle luxe feel without overpowering the room.

About Tom Dixon

Established in 2002, Tom Dixon is a British luxury design brand offering contemporary lighting, furniture, and accessories. Their innovative designs are perfect for those looking to make a unique, modern statement in their home.

From Bass Guitar to Design Guru

Tom Dixon isn't your typical designer. Starting as the bass guitarist for Funkapolitan, a twist of fate led him to the world of design after a series of motorbike accidents.

By the 1980s, he was gaining recognition with pieces like the iconic "S' chair for Italian giant Cappellini. By the 90s, his creativity brought him to the forefront of British design, even rejuvenating the Habitat brand.

But it wasn't until 2002 that the Tom Dixon brand was established, with its base in London's King's Cross. The brand, known for pioneering lighting, furniture, and accessories, quickly gained international acclaim and is now represented in 90 countries.

Master of Materials

Tom Dixon's genius lies in his ability to reimagine ordinary materials. From the early days, he transformed found objects and industrial materials into art.

Whether it's the allure of copper, the shine of stainless steel, the imperfections in hand-beaten brass, or the timeless nature of stone, Tom Dixon products always have a unique touch.

His signature products, from the Melt pendant inspired by molten glass to the instantly recognizable Beat, S Chair, and Wingback, can be found in museums like the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and MOMA in New York.

More Than Just Products

Tom Dixon's impact isn't limited to individual items. In 2007, he launched Design Research Studio, which has since redefined spaces around the world.

From the Drugstore Brasserie in Paris to reimagining the modern cruise experience for Virgin Voyages, his design agency creates immersive environments.
