A series of lights in four distinctive pendant shapes: Stout, Wide, Fat and Tall. Inspired by the sculptural simplicity of traditional Indian water vessels and available in four finishes all with a warm interior of beaten brass or silver plate.

Our Stylist Says

I love this pendant for its sleek, contemporary silhouette and the way it effortlessly elevates modern interiors. The black finish makes it versatile, suited to both minimalist spaces and more eclectic schemes, especially when paired with brass or natural materials. It works particularly well in dining rooms or kitchens where a statement piece is needed without overwhelming the space. For styling tips, consider hanging a row of these above a long table for a cohesive look, or use them in a cluster at different heights for added visual interest. Practical advice would be to ensure the drop length suits the ceiling height - this pendant works best with 2.5 metre or higher ceilings to avoid it feeling tucked away or too imposing.

About Tom Dixon

Established in 2002, Tom Dixon is a British luxury design brand offering contemporary lighting, furniture, and accessories. Their innovative designs are perfect for those looking to make a unique, modern statement in their home.

From Bass Guitar to Design Guru

Tom Dixon isn't your typical designer. Starting as the bass guitarist for Funkapolitan, a twist of fate led him to the world of design after a series of motorbike accidents.

By the 1980s, he was gaining recognition with pieces like the iconic "S' chair for Italian giant Cappellini. By the 90s, his creativity brought him to the forefront of British design, even rejuvenating the Habitat brand.

But it wasn't until 2002 that the Tom Dixon brand was established, with its base in London's King's Cross. The brand, known for pioneering lighting, furniture, and accessories, quickly gained international acclaim and is now represented in 90 countries.

Master of Materials

Tom Dixon's genius lies in his ability to reimagine ordinary materials. From the early days, he transformed found objects and industrial materials into art.

Whether it's the allure of copper, the shine of stainless steel, the imperfections in hand-beaten brass, or the timeless nature of stone, Tom Dixon products always have a unique touch.

His signature products, from the Melt pendant inspired by molten glass to the instantly recognizable Beat, S Chair, and Wingback, can be found in museums like the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and MOMA in New York.

More Than Just Products

Tom Dixon's impact isn't limited to individual items. In 2007, he launched Design Research Studio, which has since redefined spaces around the world.

From the Drugstore Brasserie in Paris to reimagining the modern cruise experience for Virgin Voyages, his design agency creates immersive environments.
