Description
Character and softness… Made by French artisans, this table lamp reminds us of hanging lanterns from Asia. The fine, white, slender steel structure stands out for its broad curve. Very inviting, the slender lampshade in natural raffia is highlighted by two braided straps in Williamsburg-coloured fabric (deep khaki). It’s topped off with an elegant golden metal ring. The light filtered through the raffia lampshade creates a delicate, soothing light atmosphere. This collaboration with a French artisanal company was born from the affirmed desire of Maison Sarah Lavoine to develop this collection in a short circuit and promote French know-how. Experienced craftsmen, using the traditions of shared learning, highly skilled in steelwork, welding and experts in the art of powder-coating. Demanding levels of craftsmanship that have been rewarded with the EPV label.

I love this lamp for its clean, minimalist silhouette combined with the natural Raffia detail, which adds subtle texture and warmth. It works particularly well in contemporary and Scandi-inspired interiors, where simplicity and natural materials are key. The H 43 cm height makes it ideal for use as a bedside or side table lamp, providing soft, ambient lighting without overpowering the space. For styling, I recommend placing it on a bedside table or console with neutral tones to let the Raffia feature stand out, or blending it with other textured or woven accessories to create a laid-back, cosy vibe.
