Our Stylist Says
I love this footstool’s versatile look and practicality. The anthracite grey basket weave fabric gives it a contemporary edge that works well in both modern and transitional interiors, while the deep seat offers comfort for lounging or as a handy extra seat. It’s a great addition to neutral or muted colour schemes, providing a subtle pop of texture without overpowering the space. Practical styling tips include placing it near a sofa or armchair for relaxed foot comfort, or using it as a base for a decorative tray or pouffe to create a casual, functional corner. Its understated design makes it adaptable to various interior styles, from cosy living rooms to open-plan spaces, and the warm beige tone adds a touch of softness when paired with cooler greys or wood tones.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
