Character and softness… Made by French artisans, this wall lamp reminds us of hanging lanterns from Asia. The white steel structure, so thin and slender, is marked by its broad curves. It is punctuated with elegant golden accents. Very inviting, the two slender lampshades in natural raffia are highlighted by Williamsburg-coloured fabric braid (deep khaki). The light filtered through the raffia lampshades creates a delicate, soothing light atmosphere. This collaboration with a French artisan company was born from the firm desire of Maison Sarah Lavoine to develop this collection in a short circuit and showcase French know-how. Experienced craftsmen, using the traditions of shared learning, highly skilled in steelwork, welding and experts in the art of powder-coating. Demanding levels of craftsmanship that have been rewarded with the EPV label.
The Tokyo Double Wall light is a standout piece, thanks to its elegant Raffia finish and sculptural form. I love how it adds a warm, natural texture to both contemporary and more relaxed, bohemian interiors. It works particularly well in spaces that benefit from a soft, ambient glow-think living rooms, bedrooms, or even hallways. When styling, consider pairing it with understated furniture to let the light fixture be a focal point, or add contrasting elements like dark metals or rich textiles for a layered look. Practical tip: use it in zones where you want a cosy, inviting atmosphere-it’s ideally placed beside seating areas or in nooks to enhance the overall space without overwhelming it.
