Our Stylist Says
I love this bed base for its sleek, contemporary design and practical features, making it a versatile choice for a variety of interiors. The charcoal grey adds a sophisticated touch that works well in modern, minimal, or Scandinavian-inspired spaces, while the integrated headboard and footboard help create a cohesive look. The inclusion of two drawers on the same side offers valuable storage without cluttering the room, ideal for maximise space in smaller bedrooms. Styling tips include pairing it with crisp, neutral bedding to highlight its understated elegance, or layering textures with throws and cushions for a cosy feel. It’s a great base for those looking for a practical yet stylish upgrade, especially in larger master bedrooms where a super king adds a sense of luxury.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
