I’m a fan of this dark mango wood sideboard because its rich tones and solid, chunky handles bring warmth without feeling heavy. It works particularly well in contemporary, industrial or eclectic schemes - pair it with minimalist metal-framed mirrors or raw-edged shelving to balance the density of the timber.
For practical styling, use the top surface as a layering station: start with a simple runner or tray, add a low-profile lamp to one side and stack a couple of coffee-table books with a small plant or ceramic object on the other. Inside, the three-door compartment is ideal for stashing board games, extra dinnerware or table linens, keeping everything within easy reach but tucked neatly away.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
