Description
Designed by renowned industrial designer Miguel Milá and re-released in 2011 by Santa and Cole to mark the iconic design's 50th anniversary the TMC Floor Lamp showcases a height-adjustable shade. Winner of the ADI FAD Golden Delta Award in 1961 the TMC Floor Lamp has been revised by Santa and Cole to present the 'latest, definitive' edition of the piece, reviving a number of intricate details that were overseen during its life. The adjustable shade has been reconfigured to offer a smooth movement, adjusted using a well-positioned magnet. Miguel Milá was a pioneer of his generation; born in the 1950s, a time when Spain's industry was in crisis, meant Milá grew up in a generation where handmade things were not only the norm, but necessity. This drove Milá to design and create lamps and furniture that remains renowned to this day, and his work is now known as the epitome of Catalan design. Requires 1 x Max 100w E27 bulb (not included)
