Description
Table lamps are great as decorative features and double up with a practical purpose thanks to the ambient illumination that they offer. This unusual dark honey coloured piece gives a retro style to your living room or bedroom, with the vessel table lamp design breaking the conventions of the average table lamp to give an abstract twist to your décor. Pair this lamp with a vintage style filament bulb for a distinctively retro look!.
Our Stylist Says
I love this Tizzo retro vessel lamp for its distinctive shape and warm, dark honey finish, which adds a touch of mid-century charm. It works well in both contemporary and vintage-inspired interiors, especially when paired with warm wood tones or neutral palettes. Practical styling tips include placing it on bedside tables or sideboards to create a cosy, inviting atmosphere. Its compact size means it’s versatile enough to work in smaller spaces or as an accent piece on shelves or desks. To maximise its visual appeal, consider using the bulb’s amber glow as a warm glow feature in living rooms or bedrooms-just swap the bulb to get the perfect cosy or task setting.

About BHS.com
Historical Roots
British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.
Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.
Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!
Expansion and Evolution
BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.
They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
