Our Stylist Says
I love this wool rug for its versatile offwhite tone, which makes it easy to incorporate into a variety of interiors, from cosy traditional schemes to sleek modern spaces. Its size makes it ideal for defining living areas or adding softness to a bedroom, while the wool material ensures it’s durable and comfortable underfoot. When styling, consider layering this rug with textured throws or accessories in muted or natural colours to create a relaxed, cohesive look. It also pairs well with wood or metal furnishings, bridging different styles effortlessly. Practical tips include placing it under a sofa or dining table, ensuring it’s large enough to peek out around the edges to maintain a balanced and polished appearance.

About Nordic Nest
An Odyssey in Scandinavian Design
Established in 2002, Nordic Nest underwent a transformation in name from Scandinavian Design Center in 2019. However, its core ethos remained unchanged - to introduce the world to the elegance and simplicity of Scandinavian interior design.
Today, it's not just a brand; it's a hallmark of premium Nordic design, offering a selection of over 30,000 products. From classic iconic pieces to contemporary marvels, the company provides a design experience that captures the very essence of a Scandinavian home - personal, timeless, and filled with memories.
Commitment to Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability
Nordic Nest isn't just about aesthetics; it's also about ethics. The company stands firm on its corporate social responsibility, emphasising employee well-being, promoting diversity and gender equality, and ensuring that business practices are transparent and ethical.
They're also making strides in environmental efforts, always seeking to reduce their carbon footprint. This focus on sustainability and corporate responsibility isn't just for today, but with an eye on the future, ensuring that both their designs and their business practices stand the test of time.
Bridging Cultures Through Translation
In today's interconnected world, language shouldn't stand in the way. To ensure their customers around the world can easily browse and shop, Nordic Nest partnered with Contentor, a company specialising in translations, to offer their website in multiple languages.
Their online shop, now available in ten languages, shows their commitment to localised content, ensuring that every visitor feels a personal connection.
Working with Contentor, Nordic Nest has focused on more than just translating words. They've worked together to create a full, enjoyable shopping experience for customers everywhere. This dedication to making customers happy has made Nordic Nest a favourite spot for lovers of Scandinavian design all over the world.
