Description

Introduce a coastal aesthetic to your home with the Tino Cushion in navy. The alternate stripes create a visually appealing look which will become the main focal point of any room. Style this relaxing cushion anywhere you would like such as in your living room as it boasts a welcoming atmosphere. Made from 100% cotton, you can ensure the longevity of this cushion by spot cleaning only.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Tino cushion in navy for adding a touch of classic nautical charm to a space. Its bold stripes make it versatile for decorating with a casual, seaside-inspired or contemporary look. It works particularly well in living rooms or bedrooms with a neutral palette, as it can serve as a statement piece or complement other navy accents. Practical styling tips include pairing it with natural linen throws or textured fabrics to create a layered, inviting feel. It's also perfect for injecting colour into more muted interiors without overwhelming the overall aesthetic.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
