Stonyhurst College was founded in 1593 and remains one of the UKs most prestigious boarding schools. An adaptation of the Ampleforth collection, Stonyhurst similarly transforms Timothy Oultons travelinspired trunks into functional furniture. While preserving all the hallmarks of traditional craftsmanship in its construction and detailing, the collection experiments with a range of innovative finishes including the celebrated Spitfire finish.

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.
Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.
