Design. His dads army background has a lot to do with Tims passion for drums, which along with a legend dating back to the Crimean War, directly inspired this regimental range. Legend has it, a drummer boy who served with the British Armys 77th Regiment of Foot caught his counterpart, a Russian boy trumpeter, gave him a good hiding and captured his instrument. No one knows his name, but our drums look like his would have looked. Every drum is handcrafted with traditional methods and authentic materials including vellum, hand-painted solid wood and leather.
I love the drum side table for its playful yet strong presence, making it a versatile piece that adds character to both modern and eclectic interiors. Its wooden finish offers warmth and texture, ideal for neutral schemes or to inject a bit of visual interest in more understated spaces. It works particularly well in casual living rooms, music-inspired interiors, or bohemian settings. For styling tips, try pairing it with vintage storage baskets, layered textiles, or metal accents to highlight its fun, percussion-inspired design. It’s also practical enough for use as a bedside or side table, and stacking books or placing a small lamp on top can enhance its visual appeal without overwhelming the space.
