Description
Design. From fighter plane to first class travel, the sensorial Hudson collection is clad in a patchwork skin of black Fury leather, a reinvention of our iconic Spitfire finish. With painstaking craftsmanship, each leather panel is affixed one by one using hand-applied black studs. Aniline dye allows the hide's natural character to come to the surface, creating multi-tonal hues of deep, warm browns and black for a luxuriously worn, vintage look.

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.
Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.
From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.
Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.
