Description
Incarcerated in style, the Bastille chair is wrapped around the outside in brass studded Pixel leather which conveys a strong, protective look. The interior seat and rounded back are smooth, soft and luxuriously inviting in Safari leather, carefully sanded by hand to achieve a suede-like effect that is incredibly tactile. The natural marks and characteristics of the hide are brought to the surface of the leather for a very natural, distressed look that will continue to age over time for a well-loved lived-in look. Brass feet complete the ensemble.

It works equally well in industrial-style lofts, modern classics or monochrome living rooms, where its clean lines and tactile finish can really stand out.
For styling, position it next to a slim-legged side table and a simple floor lamp to create a relaxed reading corner. Layer a chunky wool throw over one arm and add a low-pile rug underneath to balance the chair’s structure and introduce a softer texture.
