Designed by John Henry Dearle Thistle became one of only five machine-printed wallpapers produced by Morris & Co. in the early 20th century; perhaps chosen for its boldness of pattern and single colour making it easy to print with surface rollers. Available once more Thistle is one of Morris & Co.s most popular papers. With a distinctive design that is at once historical and contemporary it comes in four colourways with one in a mica sheen. Shown here in a black & linen beige colourway. Use the Thistle wallpaper to make a statement in a bedroom or kitchen or perhaps use to cover an entire living room or staircase. This wallpaper is part of the Morris Volume V wallpapers collection. Application Method: paste the wall and then apply. Pattern match: straight match. Vertical repeat: 53.5cm.
This floral wallpaper in soft eggshell ivory white is a lovely choice for creating a classic, understated backdrop. I love how it subtly brings texture and pattern without overwhelming the space, making it versatile for both traditional and contemporary interiors. It works particularly well in rooms where you want a touch of elegance, such as main living areas or bedrooms. When styling with this wallcovering, consider pairing it with muted or neutral furnishings to keep the look sophisticated, and add some natural textures like linen or wood accents for warmth. For a bolder approach, it can also serve as a calming feature wall in a more minimal setting, allowing the pattern to stand out nicely.
