Description
The Rugs Loft Rug, runner in deep dark grey with offset stripes and high–low pile, blends bold design with everyday practicality. Made from polyester with a 14 mm pile and 1400 gr/m² pile weight, it feels soft underfoot, resists shedding and stains, and works with underfloor heating. Anti-static and hypoallergenic, OEKO‑TEX STANDARD 100 certified and flame resistant, it’s robot-vacuum friendly and reduces noise—ideal for hallways, living rooms and bedrooms. Easy to care for—wipe spills and vacuum regularly. Styling tip: pair with warm white walls and light oak furniture for a calm, contemporary look.
Our Stylist Says
I love the way this Rug Loft runner seamlessly combines dark grey and beige stripes, making it a versatile piece that can elevate a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in modern or contemporary spaces, adding texture and visual interest without overwhelming the design. The textured finish lends a cosy, tactile feel, perfect for hallways or narrow spaces where durability and style are both priorities. For styling tips, consider pairing it with neutral-toned furniture and minimal accessories to let the runner be the focal point, or layer it with other textiles in complementary shades for a more curated look. Its practical length and neutral palette make it a smart choice for creating a sleek, welcoming corridor or pathway.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
