Our Stylist Says

I really like the way the Carmel Maze rug adds subtle visual interest without overwhelming a space. The grey and cream palette makes it versatile, working well in both modern and transitional interiors. It’s particularly perfect for creating a relaxed, contemporary vibe in living rooms or bedrooms. I recommend pairing it with neutral-coloured furniture to let the pattern stand out, and adding a few textured cushions or throws to complement its textured surface. Practical tip: its textured finish helps hide everyday footprints and dirt, making it a good choice for high-traffic areas. Overall, it’s a stylish, functional choice that can effortlessly elevate a room’s look while remaining easy to maintain.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
