Our Stylist Says
The gold sofa is a striking piece that works especially well in modern or eclectic interiors where it can serve as a statement focal point. I love how the metallic finish adds a touch of glamour without feeling overdone, making it quite versatile. It pairs beautifully with neutral tones, such as greys and beiges, to let the colour pop, or with bold accents like deep blues or black for a more dramatic look. Practical styling tips include layering with textured cushions or throws to soften the boldness and prevent it from feeling too shiny. Placing it in a well-lit space will maximise its impact, and balancing its luxe look with more understated furniture pieces will help create a cohesive and inviting room.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
