This print is based on translating fabric textures into a simple and minimalistic composition. The hand painted textile is cut in different abstract shapes and geometric forms. The art work is shot with a Hasselblad camera by the Danish photographer Jonas Danholt.
I love this piece because of its bold, minimalist appeal that works beautifully in modern or contemporary interiors. It’s a versatile artwork that can anchor a neutral-coloured space or complement a monochrome scheme. I’d recommend pairing it with simple furnishings to let the piece really stand out, or use it as a focal point above a sofa or sideboard. Practical styling tips include framing it within a wide matte for a gallery look, or hanging it alongside other black-and-white artworks for a curated and cohesive display. This artwork lends itself well to minimalist, urban, or even industrial interiors, adding a striking yet understated touch.
