Dan Hobday is a Devon-based artist with a passion for minimal, contemporary art working in inks, acrylics, digital and mixed media and his diverse styles span many subjects. Dan was inspired to draw from an early age by his Grandfather and has always loved creating art and experimenting with paint and pencil which is demonstrated beautifully in this stunning piece of wall art that will make a fantastic talking point in any room in the home. Living in Devon and working from his home studio close to some incredible scenery and coastal landscapes, he finds endless inspiration from his surroundings. Dan's work is popular with interior designers and art consultancies internationally and is often used by TV and film set companies.
I love this tide sunset print for its calming, understated colour palette, making it versatile for various interiors. It works particularly well in minimalist, coastal, or seaside-inspired spaces, adding a touch of tranquillity without overwhelming the decor. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with soft neutrals or light pastels for a cohesive look, and hang it at eye level in a living room or bedroom to create a focal point. Since it's a small piece, it’s perfect for a gallery wall or to add a subtle pop of colour above a console table or bed. Keep the framing simple to ensure the artwork remains the centre of attention.
