Description

Its geometric and graphic lines with a textured finish, give rhythm to this Berber-inspired rug in natural tones. Its wool, spun in New Zealand, is soft and thick. For an instant sensation of softness. All our rugs are handcrafted, a guarantee of quality and uniqueness. Real decorative elements, thermal and sound insulators, they warm the atmosphere. Product Details • 93% wool, 5% cotton, 2% polyester • Craftsmanship: Hand woven • Weight: 3,370gsm • Pile height: 10 -12mm Quality Info • Wool is a warm and comfortable natural fibre. In addition to being resistant to wear and durable over time, the wool carpet is also an excellent thermal and sound insulator. • Each piece is handcrafted, according to ancestral know-how. There may therefore be slight variations in colour from one carpet to another.. They contribute to the beauty of each piece and make it unique. Care Advice • Some materials such as wool are very fibrous and you can actually observe a piling during the first weeks of use: this is a normal for this type of product and is not a defect. Remove the excess fibres by hand where possible, do not use a vacuum cleaner with a rotating brush as this can pull and tear the fibres. The pilling will improve over time. • For maintenance, we advise you to vacuum it very little the first month and then to vacuum it without rubbing too much always without using the brush. • Remove any stains immediately with a clean, damp cloth. • Dry clean recommended. Dimensions • Width 120 x Length 180cm • Width 160 x Length 230cm • Width 200 x Length 290cmDelivery:. Available for home delivery.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this rug because of its neutral tone and textured pattern, which adds subtle visual interest without overwhelming a space. The hand-knotted 93% wool construction makes it durable and soft underfoot, perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, or even cosy nooks. It works well in both modern and more traditional interiors-pair it with sleek furniture for a contemporary look, or layer it with vintage pieces for added warmth. Practical styling tips include placing it under a central seating arrangement to anchor the space, and adding layered textiles like cushions or throws for a cosy, inviting feel. Its understated design makes it versatile enough to complement a range of colour schemes and styles.

A Legacy of French Fashion

La Redoute has been around for 180 years. It started as a place that made wool products and grew into a popular online store for home and fashion items from France.

They've always tried to bring the unique French style to everyone and have changed with the times, especially in understanding the changing roles of women. For them, it's not just about selling products; it's about celebrating the art of everyday living and the quintessential French "je ne sais quoi".

Sustainability and Environmental Consciousness

La Redoute's commitment to the environment and sustainability is unwavering. They have taken commendable steps like joining the Better Cotton Initiative and ensuring their paper stock comes from sustainably-managed forests.

As a proud member of the Fur Free Retailer Program, they stand against the use of real fur and certain other materials, showcasing their concern for animal well-being.

Their transportation choices, too, echo their eco-conscious ethos. By using means like barges and trains, they actively reduce CO2 emissions, highlighting their drive to make choices beneficial for the planet.

Championing Social Responsibility

Beyond its fashion-forward vision, La Redoute actively champions societal values. Their signature on the UN's Global Compact underscores their commitment to sustainable development.

They take pride in being accessible to all, with their website catering to both the hearing and visually impaired. Moreover, La Redoute's dedication to social causes is evident in their support for equal opportunities, their stand against violence towards women through partnerships like Solfa, and their endeavours to empower employees, fostering a culture of responsible entrepreneurship.
