Price History
Description
The Tewin is a Vintage Hospital Style metal bed frame. This bed is a nostalgic redesign of the classic 'gaslight' bed, seen in dormitories and hospitals of Victorian-era Britain. The bed frame has solid metal slats and a sturdy base for your comfort. Featuring a curved head and foot, this bed has a strong vintage hospital aesthetic with subtle yet detailed castings. A bed frame that will suit a variety of decor schemes, especially Victorian and Edwardian homes. Available in Black, White or Hand-brushed Antique Brass, as a Single, Small Double, Double or King Size.
Our Stylist Says
I really like the Tewin vintage hospital style bed because of its industrial charm and timeless appeal. Its metal frame in a clean white finish makes it incredibly versatile, working well in both minimalist and rustic interiors. It's particularly suited to schemes that blend vintage aesthetics with modern simplicity, such as shabby chic or urban loft styles. For styling tips, consider adding soft, textured bedding in neutral tones to soften the industrial look, or layered throws and cushions for a cosy feel. Pairing it with reclaimed wooden furniture or raw metal accents can help create a balanced, curated space that looks effortlessly stylish.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
