Price History
Description
The Tewin is a Vintage Hospital Style metal bed frame. This bed is a nostalgic redesign of the classic 'gaslight' bed, seen in dormitories and hospitals of Victorian-era Britain. The bed frame has solid metal slats and a sturdy base for your comfort. Featuring a curved head and foot, this bed has a strong vintage hospital aesthetic with subtle yet detailed castings. A bed frame that will suit a variety of decor schemes, especially Victorian and Edwardian homes. Available in Black, White or Hand-brushed Antique Brass, as a Single, Small Double, Double or King Size.
Our Stylist Says
I love this vintage hospital style bed frame for its utilitarian charm and timeless appeal. Its white, metal design works beautifully in industrial or minimalist interiors, adding a subtle retro vibe without feeling overstated. It’s versatile enough to suit both contemporary and more eclectic schemes - pairing well with neutral bedding for a pared-back look, or with colourful linens and cushions for a more personalised, relaxed feel. Practical styling tips include layering with textured throws or quilts for comfort and contrast, and coordinating bedside tables and lighting to keep the room feeling cohesive. This bed makes a statement while remaining functional and easy to integrate into various bedroom styles.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
