Our Stylist Says
I love this bench because it combines practicality with a touch of rural charm, making it a versatile addition to many interiors. Its sage green finish adds a calming, muted tone that works well in both traditional and contemporary settings, especially in hallways, boot rooms, or even under a window seat. The two washable rattan baskets are a real bonus-they provide handy storage for footwear, accessories, or outdoor gear, while keeping the space looking tidy. To style it effectively, consider layering with textured throws or cushions on the seat to create a welcoming feel, and perhaps add some decorative baskets or plants around it to enhance the relaxed, rustic vibe. This piece is particularly suited for country cottage, farmhouse, or even coastal-inspired interiors.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
