Description

* Tonal checked design * Dense fringe edging * Low profile Flatweave * Made from a wool blend * Easy to style Looking for a modern twist on a timeless design? Then the Tess Check flatweave wool rug is the choice for you. Crafted from a wool blend, this expertly woven rug features a tonal chunky check design finished with a playful textural fringe. The low profile flatweave design is easy to style under furniture and beautifully compliments a timeless or contemporary home. Why Wool? Choose wool for its natural durability, cosy warmth, and easy maintenance. Naturally resilient, wool fibres bounce back easily, making them ideal for high-traffic areas. They also act as a natural sound and heat insulator, helping to create a quieter, cosier space. The Rug Pictured is: 160cm x 230cm. Care:Wool is a natural fibre, and shedding is normal for a long period. Unroll your rug and leave for 24 hours during first use. Maintain your Wool rug by vacuuming regularly with a nozzle attachment, this will reduce shedding over time. Cut any loose fibres with scissors, do not pull. For accidental spills blot immediately and spot clean with a damp white cloth, do not rub or over saturate the fibres to keep them soft and plush. Add an anti-slip underneath your rug to prevent slipping. Rotate every few months to prolong the life of your rug.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Tess flatweave check rug for its versatile and understated style, making it a great addition to a range of interiors-from cosy bedrooms to living rooms with a relaxed, modern aesthetic. Its simple check design adds visual interest without overpowering typical colour schemes, making it suitable for both neutral and more vibrant palettes. Practical styling tips include layering it with larger rugs for added texture or placing it under a bed or dining table to define the space clearly. Its flatweave construction makes it easy to clean and perfect for high-traffic areas, ensuring both style and function go hand-in-hand.

A Legacy of Home Comfort Dunelm's Journey

Dunelm isn't just another store; it's a British legacy. Kicked off in 1979 by the dynamic duo, Bill and Jeany Adderley, what began as a simple market stall in Leicester transformed into one of the UK's most prominent home furnishings retailers.

Fast forward a bit, and their first brick-and-mortar store sprang to life in Leicester in 1984. Dunelm didn't stop there, making waves throughout the decades, innovating and expanding, launching an online shopping experience, and securing its place on the London Stock Exchange.

More than Just Products...A Personal Touch

With a whopping 177 stores across the UK, Dunelm isn't just about selling items; it's about crafting experiences. Many of their stores come with cosy Pausa cafes, offering a space to relax and refuel.

And if you've ever felt like joining a community, they've got dedicated Facebook groups for each store locality. It's not just about buying a product; it's about being part of the Dunelm family. Their online platform seamlessly complements their in-store experience, promising product availability and varied delivery options.

But Dunelm is more than its rich history and expansive product range. At its core, the company is committed to creating that heartfelt sensation of truly being at home. They've placed a solid emphasis on making responsible, long-term decisions that prioritise our environment and cherish future relationships.

85% of their growth over the past five years is credited to market share gains, underscoring their commitment to sustainability and quality.
