Description

Transform your space with the Terri Tiered Floor Lamp in Natural, a beautifully designed lighting piece that combines style with functionality. Featuring a unique tiered fabric shade and conical base, this floor lamp adds depth and warmth to any room while maintaining a natural, organic appeal. The neutral-toned shade complements the contemporary shape, making it an ideal fit for modern, Scandinavian, and boho interiors.

Our Stylist Says

I love this floor lamp for its simple, elegant design and neutral colour that can seamlessly blend into various interiors. It works particularly well in contemporary or Scandinavian schemes, where its natural tone adds warmth without overpowering the space. Practical styling tips include placing it next to a reading nook or armchair for functional ambient lighting, or alongside a textured rug and soft furnishings to create a cosy corner. Its understated silhouette makes it versatile - pairing beautifully with wooden or metal furniture, and it can be used to soften a minimalist setup or add a subtle layer of light in more layered, eclectic rooms.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
