Description
The Arc™ upholstered bed frame from TEMPUR® has been designed to complement any of their mattresses. Created together with renowned design agency Studio Stockholm, discs in the bed frame flex with your body and adjust to your individual shape and movements - and you can customise your sleep surface further by arranging the discs in zones, wherever you prefer softer or firmer areas of support. Openings between the discs ensure air can flow throughout, providing ventilation for your mattress for a cooler night's sleep. It's available in a range of colours and distinguished by its firm outer shape and Form headboard, which gives a calm and natural feel to any bedroom space. Plus, assembly is straightforward thanks to a modular system which means you don't need any tools. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.
Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of the Arc upholstered bed for its clean lines and low-profile frame, which make it a versatile choice in both contemporary and Scandi-inspired schemes. The tall, gently curved headboard works brilliantly against a pale or feature-wall backdrop and provides comfortable back support for reading in bed. To style it, I’d layer tonal linens with a chunky knit throw and add a pair of slim-legged bedside tables to keep the look light and uncluttered. Its platform base means you won’t need a separate divan, so you gain extra under-bed clearance - perfect for storage baskets or a simple rug to frame the bed.

About John Lewis
A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion
John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.
What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.
Adapting to Changing Times
Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.
Commitment to a Greater Purpose
John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
