Description

The Arc™ upholstered ottoman bed frame offers the best of storage and support. Created together with renowned design agency Studio Stockholm, its double-frame slat system works together with your TEMPUR® mattress to perfectly support your body while you sleep. High-quality steel tubing makes the bed frame reliably robust and durable, while the wide-opening ottoman hinges ensure a seamless and easy lift-up to access the helpful storage space inside. This base offers a more precise level of comfort and support. Discs in the bed frame flex with your body, adjusting to your individual shape and movement. These discs can also be arranged to suit individual needs, and you can completely customise your sleep surface with zones that feel softer or firmer depending on where you prefer extra support. Openings between the discs also allow air to flow through your mattress, keeping it cool and fresh. Featuring the Vertical headboard which has a distinctive linear pattern. Choose from a range of colours. Plus, assembly is straightforward thanks to a modular system which means you don't need any tools - just a small amount of fixing is required to attach the slatted section to the ottoman arm. This frame comes with Natural Ash legs, but if you want a different leg colour, visit one of our shops to place your order. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

I love this ottoman bed for its clean, contemporary lines and versatile style. Its upholstered finish makes it work well in both classic and modern interiors, adding a touch of understated sophistication. The storage disc is a practical feature, perfect for decluttering bedrooms with limited space, while the Super King size ensures ample comfort. To style this bed, consider pairing it with layered textiles like cosy throws and plush pillows for a welcoming vibe, or keep it sleek with minimal bedding and monochrome colours for a more streamlined look. It’s a functional statement piece that combines comfort with smart storage, ideal for contemporary homes where space and style go hand in hand.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
