Description
An oak burl base holds comfortable, oversized foam and feather-filled cushions wrapped in velvet upholstery for a relaxed silhouette. Inspired by the social spaces of Soho House Portland, the Tellis armchair has a relaxed silhouette thanks to its oversized foam and feather-filled cushions. Fully upholstered in velvet that comes in our range of bespoke colourways, it can be styled as a standalone armchair, or pieced together with the corner module to create a larger seating area.

I’m a fan of this camel-velvet chair for its clean lines and low profile - it suits both contemporary and mid-century interiors by adding a warm, tactile accent without dominating the space. Its neutral tone works particularly well against pale oak floors, stone greys or deep forest greens.
For styling, tuck a small wool blanket over one arm and float the chair beside a slim metal side table with a simple lamp to create a cosy reading corner. If you have a larger living area, group two chairs around a marble-topped coffee table to balance texture and keep the look inviting yet uncluttered.
