Description

The Teknik Hampstead Park Wide Bookcase is our stylish and spacious design option for any home office or study. Beautifully finished in a Grand Walnut effect with solid wooden feet, this mid century styled bookcase provides a roomy and neutrally coloured storage solution for all your accessories, files, books and folders, an ideal match for all colour schemes. This classic yet remarkably modern looking bookcase also features an enclosed back with cord access, two fixed display shelves and one height adjustable shelf behind sliding doors – perfect for all your organisational needs. It also has the added benefit of being finished throughout so you can place the bookcase freestanding in any location and at any angle. Also ideal to match in this range are the Narrow Bookcase, Compact Desk, Park Desk and Storage Stand, all finished in the same quintessential style.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this walnut wide bookcase for its warm tones and clean mid-century silhouette - it slots straight into modern, Scandi or classic schemes without overwhelming the room. The slim, tapered legs lift the piece off the floor, giving a sense of airiness even when fully dressed. For styling, balance books with a few sculptural objects and low-maintenance plants, and use the lower cabinet to hide less attractive items. Group varying heights and textures on each shelf (try stacking a couple of volumes horizontally) to keep the overall look curated rather than cluttered.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
