Price History

Description

Designed by Habitat's in-house team, the Tatsuma white and ash 3 door wardrobe is a clean Scandinavian-style design. It features a full length mirror on the interior of the middle door, 2 hanging rails and 2 drawers. The wardrobe shares the solid ash base and elegant tapered legs of our bestselling Tatsuma bed. Cleanly realised in matt white lacquer, the wardrobe is part of the Tatsuma bedroom furniture range. Please note that this piece is complex to build and we would advise the use of a professional fitting company.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wardrobe for its clean, minimalist aesthetic that works well in contemporary and Scandinavian-inspired interiors. The combination of white with ash tones adds a subtle warmth, preventing it from feeling clinical. Its three-door design provides versatile storage options, making it practical for organising clothes and accessories. Styling tips include pairing it with light-toned or neutral bedding and accessories to keep the space feeling fresh and bright. To add a touch of personality, consider accessorising the top with decorative objects or a small indoor plant. It's particularly suitable for bedrooms aiming for a sleek, uncluttered look, or even a modern dressing area.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
