Description

A central floral medallion bordered with generous leaf motifs in a vintage heirloom style, the Tara Traditional Wool rug pairs our timeless traditional favourites with a classic wool composition. Hand-tufted by artisan rug makers in Northern India, the dense 100% wool pile maximises insulating qualities for a warm, cosy sensation underfoot. We recommend using the Tara design to inject feminine style into bedrooms and living spaces. Don't forget to buy our handy anti-slip mat,. Here,. Available in a range of sizes. This is a dense hand-made rug. When opening, re-roll your rug pile out and leave in a warm room for 24 hours before putting in place, this will help to reduce wrinkles and curling from packing. Do not pull any loose threads, please cut them carefully with scissors to remove. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as this may cause fading of the colour. Turn your rug regularly to ensure even wear and to reduce pressure marks from furniture. Wool fibres may shed when new and during use, this is a characteristic of this product and is not a defect and should reduce with normal use and regular vacuuming. Before using any cleaning products on your rug, test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it does not affect the colour. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean dry white cloth - do not rub as this may stain the fibres. Vacuum your rug regularly to remove everyday dirt, we recommend the use of a suction type vacuum cleaner as a rotating vacuum brush can cause damage to the pile surface. We recommend the use of an anti-slip mat beneath your rug to prevent it from slipping and sliding out of place. Latex is used on the back of this rug. Please do not leave babies or young children unsupervised on this rug.

Our Stylist Says

I love this tworough wool rug for its vibrant purple hue, which can instantly uplift a child's bedroom or playroom. Its traditional pattern adds a touch of timeless charm, while the wool material ensures durability and comfort underfoot-ideal for active little ones. This rug works particularly well in neutral or pastel interiors, providing a pop of colour and visual interest without overwhelming the space. For styling, consider pairing with soft furnishings in complementary colours like greys or blush tones, and keep the surrounding decor simple to let the rug be the statement piece. It's a practical choice that combines style with practicality in any child's room.
