Description
Stack it… To create the Tangent table lamp, German designer Frederik Kurzweg dove into an experimental study on the assembly of tubes of various sizes. As he joined together two metal tubes along their tangent, the designer was struck with inspiration for this lamp: a graphic yet minimalist design. The two steel tubes, with different diameters, come together and their tangential contact point. The small tube acts as a base, whilst the large tube forms the shade. A third tube is located inside the shade, made from opalescent glass, which covers the bulb and creates a soft light. Using his training in cabinetmaking, designer Frederik Kurzweg combined expertise, craftsmanship and creativity. Fascinated by technical precision, his creations are signed with minimalist lines and graphic expressions.
