Our Stylist Says
This black velvet bed frame offers a sleek, modern look with its soft upholstery and subtle metallic accents, making it a versatile addition to both contemporary and minimalist interiors. It's perfect for adding a touch of luxe to a neutral palette or creating a statement piece in a monochrome bedroom. To style it effectively, pair it with crisp, white or light-toned bedding for contrast, or introduce rich textures like faux fur throws or patterned cushions to add depth. The dark colour and plush velvet also make it forgiving of everyday wear, making it a practical choice for busy spaces. Overall, it’s an elegant yet understated piece that can anchor a sophisticated bedroom scheme while remaining easy to personalise with accessories and textiles.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
