I’m a big fan of the Talula oval table because its warm oak top and slim, tulip-style base strike a neat balance between classic and contemporary. Its streamlined shape suits Scandi-inspired, mid-century or minimalist schemes, and the neutral oak tone plays nicely with both muted palettes and bolder accents.
For styling, keep things practical: mix upholstered chairs with a bench to maximise seating, layer a simple runner down the centre, and use low-profile ceramics or a cluster of glass vases for a subtle table focal point. The generous oval shape also makes it easy to circulate around in open-plan dining areas.
