Description

Contrast neat candlesticks with the abstract shape of Anissa Kermiche's small black Blobby Candlestick. Fashioned from ceramic in Portugal and finished with a striking matt black glaze, the curvaceous sculpture can nestle a candlestick or be left alone as a standalone artwork. Parisian Anissa Kermiche's eponymous fine jewellery and homeware brand is adding confidence and artistic expression to everyday life. Inspired by successful female role models as well as artists such as Alexander Calder and François Morellet, Kermiche reflects their boldness in her striking yet elegant designs. Care instructions: Wash with lukewarm water and air dry. Do not scrub.

Our Stylist Says

I love this quirky Tall Blobby candleholder for its bold, sculptural presence-it’s a real statement piece that can add a touch of modern eccentricity to both minimalist and eclectic interiors. Its matte black finish makes it versatile enough to blend seamlessly into darker colour schemes or to stand out against lighter backgrounds. It works particularly well in contemporary or industrial spaces, but can also add an unexpected edge to more classic interiors when styled thoughtfully. To maximise impact, place it on a simple side table or a mantelpiece, pairing it with other monochrome accessories or contrasting textures like brass or wood for added visual interest. Practical tip: keep the surrounding area uncluttered to let its shape shine and make sure the candle is appropriately secured for safety.
