Description

For sophisticated style with a deco twist, our Tala gold marble shelf is ideal. A natural white marble solid shelf sits within two square-shaped iron brackets with an antiqued gold finish to create an elegant shelving unit for your home.

Our Stylist Says

I love this shelf for its sophisticated mix of materials - the luxurious gold with the rich marble top creates a timeless look that elevates any space. It works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist interiors where it can serve as a statement piece, but it can also add a touch of elegance to more traditional settings. Practical styling tips include pairing it with simple, sculptural décor or a curated selection of small plants and ceramics to complement the marble’s veins. Because of its refined finish, I’d avoid overcrowding; instead, keep accessories minimal to let the material shine. This piece is perfect for displaying favourite objects or artwork, adding a hint of glamour without overpowering the room.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
