Designed by Charlotte Perriand, the Tabouret Méribel Stool embodies her belief that furniture is not simply a decorative element, but a functional and technical addition essential in any home. A taller version of the Tabouret Berger, this stool was created for a chalet in Méribel, France. A modern take on the traditional milking stool, the design is influenced by local rustic architecture. The legs are cut with geometric angles and the stool is crafted from wood in a canaletto walnut, natural oak or black-stained oak finish. The minimalist aesthetic of Perriand's designs mean that they have a timeless appeal, still as current and relevant in today's landscape as when they were first created.
