Nicholai Wiig Hansen has designed a beautiful coffee table called Tablo . As a matter of fact it is the simplicity that makes it stand out - from the crowd. Inspired by the classic Morocco tea table, Nicholai has given it a typical Nordic twist. As a contrast to classic tea tables, Tablo has no form of decoration but is reduced to a simple form of expression - a round plate with 3 legs - typical Nicholai - but also typical Nordic and Normann design. Tablo is quick and easy to assemble without the use of screws and comes in two sizes in black and white...very simple - very Normann.
I really like this small coffee table for its clean, understated design and versatile size, making it a practical addition in many interiors. The grey top offers a subtle contrast that works well in both modern and Scandinavian-inspired spaces, especially those with a neutral palette. I suggest pairing it with light wood or white furniture to enhance its sleek look, or use it as a contrasting piece alongside darker tones. For styling tips, keep its surface clear for a minimalist vibe or add a few curated accessories like a vase or a small stack of books for a cosy, lived-in feel. Its compact size makes it ideal for smaller living rooms or as an accent piece in a corner, adding character without overcrowding the space.
